Lochwood House was an absolute gem. the hospitality of the hosts, Don and Lorraine, was exceptional. Their helpful suggestions for activities and their attention to detail made our stay truly memorable. the house itself was warm, cozy, and beautifully restored, with stunning views of the surroundings. the Glen Donich Trail and waterfalls nearby were a highlight, offering a picturesque setting for hiking. the well-kept gardens and the relaxing atmosphere of the house made it a perfect base for exploring the Cowal peninsula and beyond. the Smokery Café on-site was a delightful spot to enjoy delicious food and learn about salmon smoking. Overall, our experience at Lochwood House was top-notch, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and charming getaway in Scotland.
